“I have studied environmental engineering at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Dipl. Ing. (FH)) and wrote my dissertation at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Dr. Ing.). I am a member of the division "Sustainable Production and Consumption" at Wuppertal Instititut, a member of the Scientists-For-Future in the regional group Cologne/Bonn and a member of the criteria committee of the “Kinderzukunftsfonds” by Kindernothilfe e.V..
My main research focus is the identification, epistemic justification, and quantification of sustainability indicators at the level of micro-economic (measures, products, households) and meso-economic systems (financial products, quarters, companies, associations). My areas of expertise are: Impact Reporting methodologies for Green, Social & Sustainability Bonds, Bayesian Reasoning and Causal Inferences, Theories-of-Change, Corporate Sustainability Reporting (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, Carbon Accounting) as well as generally Life Cycle Assessments & bottom-up modeling of environmental or social effects. I regularly review journal articles or consult on methodologies in my fields of expertise.”
